The panoramic radio gives an overview of dental arches, jaws, joints and sinuses. It is used to diagnose a large number of pathologies: infections, fractures of the jaws, cysts and granulomas in the roots of the teeth, and some bone diseases.

A dental panoramic can also be performed to evaluate the positioning and evolution of the wisdom teeth, the possible bone loss, or to visualize all the teeth germs in the child. Moreover, it is also very useful for deciding the correctness of implant placement. In this case, it will be completed by a 3D radiography (Conebeam).
